The next step was building up the background some more, so I threw in buildings and such:

This came from the third book of Stephen King’s Dark Tower series. There’s a giant diseased cyborg bear that Susannah shoots in the ass then takes off the radar dish on the top of his head. I thought it was a pretty cool image so I sketched it out while waiting for further texturing instructions. First time I’ve draw people in a long time, and first ever for a bear.

Well I give up. On this painting at least. I originally intended it to be more, but eh this is good enough. I’m putting the 2k image in my main gallery here

so this is based on someones concept sketch I saw last night. I started out just mimicking what they had done.

yeah I didn’t have any texturing to do so I sketched. Here’s something I came up with:

Design for a futuristic marine drop ship. Got an idea for a painting that may pop up later on.

So I am very interested in this arctic base idea, and I’m trying to flesh it out and see if I can come up with a decent composition and design. I’m also considering it for a projected painting but I’m not sure on what would look good.

This sketch took me about an hour and was inspired by a painting I saw somewhere. Can’t remember where. But I liked the idea of the base popping up from under the snow.

I had this picture and decided to start painting over it quick like and here it is.
