Found Greeble Addon

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

Shortly after the last post, I found a greeble plugin for Maya, it’s actually a part of the GooMoo Utilities. This image shows a small part of the use I found for it. I’m so glad I found a Greeble plugin for Maya that actually works.

Canyon City

This is a project I started a while back with my friend Dan. When I moved across the country we stopped working on it but I decided to continue on with it, and if he’s still got the time we’ll work together again. But here’s an image of how fair it’s gotten.

First piece of Professional work

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

Today I found out that I have had my first piece of professional work appear.  It’s a shot in the second Terminator Salvation theatrical trailer.  The shot starts at about 1:30 and is the birds eye view of a street, with a building collapsing on the right side.

I know this may seem a little lame but, hey man, it’s my first piece of work that will appear on the big screen.  That’s pretty cool to me. On another note, I’ve continued working on shots for T4 and it’s looking like it’s gonna be pretty cool. It’s hard to tell story line from just seeing single shots or short sequences, but from a purely effects stand point it’s going to be pretty sweet.
